The best nail polish I've ever tried

Hello everyone!!

In today's post, I am gonna be talking all about my favourite nail polish. I absolutely love wearing nail polish, and I probably wear it 95% of the time. I feel like I've finally found my perfect match, after years of trying different brands. I tried cheap, expensive, everything, and the one I've liked the most is not one of the cheapest ones, but there are definitely some that are more expensive.

So the brand that has become my holy grail is MAC. I feel like the formulation is awesome. It can quite easily last a week on my nails without chipping (and yes, I do cleaning and dishes and all that stuff in my house that can damage it). I feel like it looks perfect on your nails, it gives them a lot of shine and gives a very professional finish.

Anyway, I have to tell you guys that even if you're wearing a nail polish that claims to last forever, it DOES depend a lot on the top coat. I don't think I've ever used a nail polish that doesn't need one, because it is specifically created to protect the colour, increase the duration and make it look even better (I've been using the Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat, and it is the perfect complement).

They are not exactly cheap (around $22 in Australia), but they've worked so well for me that I don't mind paying a little extra, because there's nothing more frustrating than spending time doing your nails and having chips everywhere the next day. As I mentioned before, I can be sure that with MAC polishes my nails will look perfect for a week (it might even last a bit longer, but I usually end up re-doing them because I get bored of the colour lol).

Here are some of my favourite colours in case you need a bit of guidance:

0705 mac nail lacquer steamy bd1. The very first one I got some years ago was "Steamy". I am sure the bright pink caught my eye straight away, and once I put it on, I completely fell in love. It is very bold and bright, and it's perfect for Summer, but it's also perfect for Winter (do you really need a season to wear a certain colour? You just rock whatever colour you want!)

2. "Snob" is the perfect girly soft pink. I really like this shade, it's perfect for any occasion, and will look even better with a tan. It will make your nails look impeccable and trendy, so it's perfect if you're looking for a pastel pink shade.

3. "Sour Cherry" is a deep red. I like how elegant it looks, but it's also very versatile. People would probably consider it a more wintery colour (on with the season colours again haha). It's in my list of favourites because sometimes you feel like something a bit darker but not exactly black, and this one is perfect for those days.

4. I love "Midnight Sky" because it's dark. It's not black - it's more in between grey and black, and has a very subtle sparkly effect, so the name couldn't be more perfect, because it does look like the sky at night. It is very edgy and trendy, and the quality is just as good as the others, of course.

5.  "Midnight Strata" is very edgy as well. It's a bright purple that will give you an energy boost from just looking at your nails. It's perfect for any season, situation, occasion, event, etc. and it'll make you feel like a fashion queen because no one will be able to ignore your nails.

- You can get these and other colours from David Jones or any MAC shop in Australia.

Hope you enjoyed it, thanks for reading me! xo

*Disclaimer: All these opinions are my own, I wasn't paid by MAC or anyone to share this, I just genuinely think that the polishes are great and life-changing.*
