September Favourites

Hello everyone!

October is here! Hello spring, hello nicer weather, hello SUN!!! And because it's the start of the month, that means it's time for more monthly favourites! This month, I'm showcasing some new products and some oldies that I pretty much forgot I had, so it was nice to re-discover them and remember how much I used to like them. So if you wanna know which products I'm talking about, just keep on reading :)

| ORIGINS | GinZing Refreshing Scrub Cleanser

If you follow me on Instagram, this is probably no suprise to you, because I HAD to talk about it pretty much as soon as I tried it, because it was love at first sight (or use). First, I fell in love with the scent - it's just perfect, it's fresh, youthful, energizing, and just smelling it in the shower makes me smile - and then I fell in love with the texture and how awesome it feels. It took me just one use to know how glad I was I got it. It is VERY gentle, the microbeads are very soft and soothing. It definitely doesn't feel like your scraping your skin off, so it was a clear game changer for me, given I realized that I might have been using scrubs that were a bit too rough.
It retails for $28 and you can find it at Mecca (link here)

Origins - Ginzing Refresh Scrub Cleanser

| BURT'S BEES | Tinted Lip Oil

I've definitely talked about this product before, but I had to include it in this month's favourites, because I've barely stopped using it. I've been seriously loving this brand lately, and I really like how natural it feels. I feel like all of the Burt's Bees products I've tried go really well with my skin, which is quite sensitive, so I'm really happy with it. This lip oil in particular is very hydrating and has a little tiny bit of colour which is perfect for every day. It also makes your lips look a bit more plumped, thanks to the glossy finish.
It is $17.99 and it's available at Priceline (link here)

Burts Bees Tinted Lip Oil 1.2 mL

| SLEEK | Blush in Rose Gold

This has been a favourite of mine for ages. I just absolutely love the pinky shade with those little bits of gold. It reminds me a lot of Orgasm by Nars, but I wouldn't say it is an exact dupe, because the shades of pink are slightly different, in my opinion. I think that the shimmer gives you the perfect glowy look that is especially ideal for Spring/Summer. Of course, you can use it whenever you want, because it'll make your skin look very, very beautiful and dewy.
It is $14.95 and you can find it at Target (link here)

| REVLON | Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor

I am usually not the biggest fan of matte lipsticks, because I think that it's SO hard to find one that doesn't crease or make lips look ridiculously dry, but this one is an awesome exception. Not only does it feel amazingly moisturising, but it also lasts forever and it has an incredible colour payoff. Plus it smells DELICIOUS, which is a big thing for me, because I struggle to use lipsticks that smell bad. It is a bit more pricey than other drugstore lippies, but it is worth every cent. Mine is in the shade "Forever" and it is a very pretty shade of nude.
It retails for $24.95 and you can find it at Priceline and Chemist Warehouse (link here)

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor 5.9 mL

| MODELCO | Instant Brows Pencil

Before trying this, I was a Dipbrow Pomade girl, because it always gave me the best brows, and because I am a redhead, I thought it would be pretty hard to find a shade that actually matches my hair and brows, so I just stuck with Anastasia. I got this pencil in my Bellabox from September, and I seriously loved it. I still love my Pomade, but this pencil is just SO much quicker to use, so it's perfect for days when you're rushing out the door. It comes with a brush on one end and the pencil on the other, so you don't need to waste time trying to find your spoolie brush, because it's already included here.
It is $16 and you can get it here

INSTANT BROWS PENCIL

| TARTE | Lights, Camera, Splashes

This mascara has been my favourite for years! It just gives me the best lashes, because it provides amazing volume, length and colour. I use the waterproof version (I pretty much don't have any washable mascaras) and it holds the curl very well. It also doesn't go everywhere when you apply it or throughout the day, so it definitely gets a 10/10 from me.
It is $29 and you can get it from Sephora (link here)

| BOBBI BROWN | Intensive Skin Serum Corrector

I got this stuff at some point last year, and for some reason I stopped using it and even forgot I had it, until the other day when I emptied my makeup bag and found it sitting at the bottom. This is something that makes a huge difference on your makeup routine. When I use it, it gets rid of my dark circles. It has a pigment that neutralizes discoloration, so you have to find the one that works best for you, because everyone has different undertones. But in my case, the shade "Light Bisque" works wonders. You do have to layer a concealer on top, because this is not a concealer, it's a corrector, but you will see a dramatic difference that will hide those all-nighters you've been pulling, and the fact that you've been tired since you were born (lol).
It is $65 and you can find it at David Jones (link here)

Hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for reading me, xo
