Top 4 Sweat Proof Foundations

Hi beauties!

So if you live in Australia, you know that we've been getting some crazy hot days lately. Luckily, here in Melbourne it's cooled down during the last couple of days, but I'm sure the hot, sticky weather will be back. If you don't live in Australia, I'm pretty sure you have to deal with super hot days during summer too, and sometimes it's so bad that your makeup ends up melting right off your face and obviously doesn't last as long as you would like.

This is why today I decided to make a list of the 4 foundations that work best for me when it's sweltering outside (and even inside too) and hopefully help you keep your makeup in place!

| URBAN DECAY | Naked Skin Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup

So this one I pretty much only use in summer because it's a teeny tiny bit too dark for my normal pasty-white skin tone. I obviously use it if I have a fake tan, but I'm usually a bit lazy and I very rarely have one on. This foundation is very light on the skin and sets very quickly (but it does give you enough time to blend out, don't worry). I find that I almost don't even need powder to set it because it doesn't feel creamy or wet-ish once it sets. It's available in 18 shades and you can find it in cool, warm and neutral undertones. It's very long-lasting and very good with sweat and oil control.
This foundation retails for $65 and you can find it at Mecca. Link here

Urban Decay - 1.0 NAKED SKIN LIQUID MAKEUP

| NARS | All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation

Yes, very weightless. Yes, very luminous. And yes, lasts all day. This foundation is one of my all time favourites, because it makes my skin so flawless, dewy, and lasts for as long as I need it to, even when it's hot and I start sweating. You can obviously make it last even longer with a primer, but it's not utterly essential. You can also make it suit your needs better, so you can make it more matte by setting it with a matte powder, or just leave it as is if you wanna stay dewy.
This one is $71 and available at Mecca as well. Link here

Nars - ALL DAY FDN MONT BLANC 30ML

| LANCÔME | Teint Idole Ultra Wear

This foundation is my most recent purchase and I love it. It's really good in hot conditions, it gives you a flawless finish, it's long-lasting and it's available in over 30 shades! I would seriously recommend this foundation because you don't need to be retouching it, has an awesome coverage but still looks like skin. You can read a more in-depth review here
It's $57 and you can also find it at Mecca, as well as David Jones and Myer. Link here

Lancome - TEINT IDOLE ULTRA W SPF 005

| IT COSMETICS | Your Skin But Better CC Cream

I used to hate CC and BB creams, because I thought they were pretty useless, until I came across this one. Same as the Urban Decay one, it's a little bit dark for me, so I tend to use it when I'm a bit more tanned. It has a surprisingly nice amount of coverage for a CC cream, but it's still very light and natural. It's very long-lasting too and in my opinion, it smells amazing - very fresh and citrusy. Totally recommended if you're looking for something a bit lighter than a full-on foundation.
It's $61 and you can find it at Sephora. Link here

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and found it helpful.
