Hi beauties!
In today's post, I'm gonna be reviewing VS Sassoon's best selling straightener and sharing the reasons why I think it's an excellent option for anyone looking to get a new hair tool. Just keep on reading!
I've been trying this straightener for the last few days so I could tell you guys all about it, and I'm loving the results!
VS Sassoon does some amazing hair tools, including hair dryers, curlers, hot air stylers, straightening brushes... you name it! This particular one has been given 5 stars by the people from beautycrew.com.au and I can see why.
The Digital Sensor Straightener has ceramic plates with ionic conditioning to eliminate static and frizz. What's really cool about it is that you get the option to choose between 12 digital temperature settings (between 180°C and 235°C) or you can use the Hair Protect Sensor Mode, which controls the temperature according to the moisture conditions of your hair, to protect from excess heat in order to achieve the best results.
The plates heat up in 30 seconds, and because of its settings and design, this tool can be used to create waves, curls, and straight hair, and it's suitable for any type of hair (fine, damaged, coarse, normal and colour treated). I've found that the ceramic on this specific iron is super good quality, which gives your hair ultimate glide, making it a lot easier to style, especially straightening your hair, but it's also amazing for curls and waves, because its technology makes them last even longer than other hair tools I've tried in the past. It is also designed to achieve faster results, giving you straight hair in only one pass.
In my opinion, it really does help with frizz (which I get a lot of) and it makes styling so easy and pleasant. It does not damage your hair (although I would always recommend going below 200°C). I love how many days I can get out of one style, without having to touch up much, especially with waves, and I also love that it's extra safe, given it turns off automatically if you accidentally leave it on.
The design is very sleek and elegant, and it's very user-friendly. My only but is that I was used to a smaller, more compact straightener before, so transitioning into this one was a bit of a change, because it is on the bigger side of the straighteners out there, but it's only a matter of getting used to it. But obviously if you have used similar sized ones in the past, this won't be a problem for you.
I think that for the price, this tool is amazing, especially considering that you could be paying 2 or 3 times as much for some of the other brands in the market, and some of them might not necessarily be a superior quality. I always look at this stuff as an investment, given it'll last years, and your hair is so precious and you are stuck with it every day of your life, so you need to know what your best options are to make it look as good as possible, and this is for sure one that I do recommend.

*I was lucky enough to get this product kindly sent to me by VS Sassoon to try out and review, but my opinions are 100% genuine and honest. I wouldn't recommend any products that I personally don't like or wouldn't use myself.*
