Hey everyone!
So it's no secret that we should be exercising regularly if we want to stay healthy. Not just to lose weight, but to stay in shape, to release endorphins, to be happy.. The list goes on and on. So in my case, I decided that it was enough of me being a couch potato and I had to start putting in the effort to get back in shape. I'm not the biggest fan of gyms, especially because they can be very expensive, so this is a good way to show you guys that you don't need to spend a fortune on expensive equipment or gym memberships to get active. Here is a list of my 5 favourite fitness YouTube channels that'll be a huge help for everyone out there:
1. Fitness Blender: I only found this channel a few weeks ago, and I can understand why they have so many subscribers. The videos are VERY professional, they have a little bar that shows you the progress of the workout, along with the calories you would be burning (roughly, of course) and there is also a "mini-video" on the top of the screen that shows you what the next workout is. The workouts are guaranteed to kick your ass, and if they don't, there's always one that's a bit more advanced than the one you're doing. Link here
2. Popsugar Fitness: This channel is perfect for girls. The host, Anna Renderer is SO adorable, but seriously pushes you through. Their videos are perfect for any level of workout, and they do make you work hard and get very sore the next day (trust me lol). I love this channel because the workouts are fun, there's a pretty relaxed atmosphere, and there's everything you can imagine, from HIIT to dance workouts. Link here
3. Yoga with Adriene: This one is the perfect yoga channel. Adriene surely knows what she's doing, and there's so many different types of videos available! She has a 30 day challenge, a Yoga for Weight Loss playlist, yoga for runners, yoga for THOSE days of the month, yoga for stretching... You name it! She is also very nice to work out with, and you can tell that she's a very peaceful human being, and all about positivity and good vibes. So who wouldn't like a yoga trainer like her? Link here
4. BeFit: This one is probably the first fitness channel I subscribed to, and they also have lots of different types of workouts. What I also like about it is that you can find some workouts by Jillian Michaels, which are, of course, guaranteed to be very challenging to say the least. I'm sure you'll find something that suits you well in this channel, plus they're constantly uploading new stuff. Link here
5. Blogilates: No, it's not just about pilates. There's also some nutrition videos with good ideas about what to eat and how to nourish your body. There's lots of great workouts to burn fat, to tighten, to stretch... Even some dance cardio, so it's a very good option and you're guaranteed to find the right one for you. Link here
Hope you enjoyed this post and it helps you get in shape :)
Thanks for reading me! xo

Bags you'll love
Monday, June 26, 2017
I LOVE BAGS, so if anyone else can relate to me on this, you're going to love this post.
I would love to be able to spend a fortune on a designer bag everytime I wanted to, but truth is, most of us are just normal people who would rather go for a more affordable option. And most of the time, we think it's not possible to find good deals in bags for decent prices, but I'm here to prove you wrong.
I went and picked some awesome deals from Colette by Colette Hayman, to celebrate the fact that they now do international shipping (yay!) AND to also celebrate that they are on SALE! So the bags that would initially be available for a pretty good price, now have up to 75% off, so I'll stop writing and I'll get to it =D
1. Well, I love animal print, so my first pick of course had to have this pattern. This wallet is gorgeous and has definitely enough room for you credit cards. It was originally $24.99, but it has 30% off so it's now $17.49. Available here
2. I absolutely fell in love with the colour of this one. I love how vibrant and eye-catching it is. I also fell in love with the price, because this one is half-price! So you can get it for $12.50 in this link
3. This tote is stunning. What I love about this type of bags is that they are very versatile - you can use them on a daily basis, for work, for travelling... They also carry a lot so you don't have to worry about down-sizing your bag interior. This one is also half price and you can get it for $30 here
4. This one is slightly more elegant, so it would be a perfect match for your busy life at work. It'll definitely hold all your stuff inside and it'll give you a trendy and effortless look. It was originally $69.99 but it's now at $48.99. You can find it here
5. Ok this one is not a bag, but look at how STUNNING it is!!!! I absolutely love the design, the texture and the faded effect. It'll definitely give you that mermaid vibe everytime you use your phone.
You can get it in this link for $14.99
6. This one is not a bag either, but the glitter and the rose gold NEEDED to be featured in this post. It's a card purse, so it's perfect for when you just do a quick run to the shops and don't exactly feel like carrying your heavy bag. It's only $7.99 and you can get it by clicking here
7. This one is the perfect bag for a weekend away. It holds a lot inside, and you can even use it as your carry-on on a plane. It comes with the handles and a shoulder strap as well, so you have more than one option to carry it. You can get it here for $45.50
8. I love the slight glitter on this one, it's definitely a smaller option, but you can definitely carry your essentials inside. It's perfect fror a night out, or for a more elegant daytime look. Available here for $24.99
9. This clutch is definitely perfect for partying. It's trendy, it's gorgeous, it's shiny. I would love to go out with friends while carrying my stuff in this bag - it would definitely add to your outfit. It's $34.99 and you can find it here
10. My last pick is not on sale, and it's more pricey than the others. But I mean, LOOK AT THAT COLOUR! I definitely love this shade of pink, and would love nothing more than to have a bag in this shade. It's absolutely gorgeous, cool, trendy and versatile. It's $64.99 and available in this link.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Thank you for reading me! xo

Elizavecca Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask *REVIEW*
Saturday, June 24, 2017
Hi everyone!
Today I came up with something that seems to be quite popular at the moment, and to be honest I don't understand why, because it's been in the market for a while. Actually, I tried it for the first time last year, and I'm glad I did.
Lately there's been a very strong connection with Korea in terms of beauty, and there's so many cool products that we probably wouldn't know of if it wasn't for them. When I think of Korean girls, I think about their gorgeous sleek and shiny hair, their pale complexion, and their perfectly smooth skin, and you can probably achieve that (or get VERY close to it) with this mask.
So my skin is combination, and it gets very dry in winter, but I tend to get a lot of blackheads on my nose and chin. I don't get a lot of pimples (finally got over that stage, because there was a time when I got a LOT, but we'll talk about it later). So overall my major concerns are the dryness on my forehead, cheeks and chin areas, and the blackheads on the others. I had tried clay masks before, and found that if you were consistent with them and committed to putting them on at least twice a week, they were really effective for fighting blackheads and zits. The thing with some of them, is that they can be very drying, especially if you have combination skin.
When I came across this mask, I thought that it would be very cool, but I was very scared of the bubbly part. I thought that it would be VERY drying and it would end up leaving my skin like it was going to fall to pieces. But it didn't! The first time, I could already feel the difference. It leaves your skin squeaky clean, very smooth and gradually gets rid of imperfections (you definitely need to use it more than once to notice a difference with blackheads).
Pros:
- It is so different, I'm very glad we're getting more products from Korea, because they're so cool and innovative.
- It can really make a difference in your pores, you just have to keep using it.
- It works for removing oil, dirt, and even makeup, I never tried removing my makeup with it, but I did try after cleaning my face with Micellar Water, because there always is a bit of makeup left over on your skin, so this mask is perfect for that.
- The tingling sensation worked out to be quite relaxing for me and made me feel like I was in a spa.
Cons:
- Given where it comes from, the label is a definite con. I don't know if it was just the jar I got, but all of the instructions were in Korean, so I had to pretty much guess how to use it. I left it on for around 20 minutes and then rinsed it off with warm water.
- The bubbles can be a con. Because the mask "grows" on your face, you have to be careful with where you apply it. Don't put it too close to your eyes, because that would be seriously painful, and probably avoid going too far near the hairline, unless you want a bubbly mess on your hair lol.
- Rinsing it off can take a while. I'm not sure if this is an actual con, because I know it is the case with all (or most) clay masks. If you haven't tried them before, it will probably annoy you, but if you have, you probably know that it's normal.
So if you're looking for a mask that does a good job at purifying your skin, this one is definitely a good idea, and I would definitely recommend trying it.
Thank you for reading me! xo

My top 10 affordable activewear picks
Thursday, June 22, 2017
Hi everyone,
I decided to come up today with a sportier post. I don't know about you, but for me, when it comes to working out, I need as much motivation as possible, as I'm an expert in finding any possible excuse to just skip it and eventually fall off the wagon. So having cute, comfortable and fun activewear is a must for me, and the industry has come so far lately. You are not condemned to wear those grey and black boring and dull tracksuit pants - there's so many cool and fun patterns and vibrant colours! But yeah, you would probably think that I'm talking about brands like Adidas or Lululemon, where you would probably end up spending more than you would want... But no, I went online shopping for you guys and picked some very affordable stuff from Kmart! I heard they are soon to launch an even better and cuter collection, but in the meantime, there's a lot to choose from and it won't leave you broke!
1.
This is something you're definitely going to need. They are machine washable, affordable and OMG those colours! I don't know about you, but I would absolutely love to have my feet in these! Oh and guess what? This 3-pack is only $2! Hell yes!
You can find them here
2. This top is seriously nice, it's comfortable, relaxed and FAR from boring. I absolutely love those straps on the back, and the pattern is really cute. It's $8 and you can get it here
3. Sports bras. You need to keep your girls in place while you run and jump and move around. So what better way to do it than with these cute bras. What I like about them is that they have the hook o the back, so you don't need to become a contortionist trying to take it off when you're all sweaty and it ends up being stuck to you like glue (lol). Plus, I really appreciate the colours, cuz, again, there is nothing more boring than BLACK. It's a 2-pack, they're padded and they are $19. Available here
4. Leggings, an absolute essential. These ones have a "moisture wicking" technology that is made to keep you dry. Yes, they are black, but they are also grey! And I don't know anyone who doesn't have at least one pair of black leggings in their closet. They are $20 and you can find em here
5. Everlast is by far one of the most renowned sports brands, and it's been around for a long time, so it's definitely a good pick at a very reasonable price. If you like crop tops for working out, this one has that little bit of shine on the logo while still being quite low profile (and black, yes lol). It's only $12 and can be found in this link
6. This is a mesh tank that has a technology to keep you dry as well. I love the colour, it's comfy and nice to just put on with a pair of leggings and hit the gym while feeling super cool and trendy. It is only $6 (can it get better than that?) and you can get it here
7. Of course, you need a hoodie, especially if you're going for a run on one of those cold mornings, or even just for being comfy at home. This one has that twist that makes it a hell of a lot better. The padded bit makes it so much cuter, and the hooded neck makes it so nice and warm, ideal for when the wind is hitting you and freezing you. It's $25 and can be found here
8. So I think this one is a really good pick, considering that you can't get a puffer jacket for this price pretty much anywhere. It is sleeveless, which makes it easier for you to keep moving and still keep you warm. I thik it's an essential for winter and for running or doing any kind of workour when there is frost out there. It's only $25! And you can check it out here
9. This top is cotton, which means it's perfect for breaking a sweat. It is definitely comfortable, and you can pair it with a crop top or a sports bra to cover the sides and focus on your goals while looking cool and trendy. It's only $10 and you can find it here
10. So if you're just getting started on this and think you're probably gonna have to spend a fortune on you first pair of sneakers, you're wrong. These ones probably don't have the technology of a $300 pair, but they are definitely perfect to get started and protect your feet and joints. They are only $30 and you can get them here
BONUS: Just because I should probably get a pair too, this dumbbell is only $6, and comes in a selection of really cute colours. They have different sizes (weights) and you can get them here

Depression: What it was like for me, and how I got over it
Monday, June 19, 2017
I feel like I gave up.
Yes, that's how it all started for me. I gave up on everything that made me happy, gave up on being strong, I let mean people get to me, I let them destroy my life. I had been bullied in school all of my life, but in senior year, I just couldn't deal with it anymore.
So I decided to just give up, to be lazy, to be sad, to just stay in bed all day and indulge, to stop doing everything that made me happy and put my focus somewhere else. I decided that for some reason, everyone who was trying to help me was actually throwing more dirt into the hole I felt like I was in, and in the end, they just made me feel more trapped and buried deeper, instead of helping. I stopped seeing my friends, the people who made me happy, and only focused on spending my time with people who were nothing but negative and sucked in all of the little bit of positivity that was left in me.
There are obviously different types of depression, and I'm no expert here, but if you're dealing with it, you definitely need to see a doctor. They'll probably put you on some pill kind of treatment, but here's the thing: those are NOT magic. In my case, I feel like they made me even worse, I feel like they even killed some of my neurons and made me drowsy and less clever. It took me years to figure it out, but I noticed eventually that I couldn't keep spiraling down and self-destructing, I had to grab hold of my own life and go back to what I used to be. And how did I do that? I started getting rid of the things (and people) that made me miserable, and I started doing more and more of the stuff that made me happy. I started picturing me in a happy scenario, and started pursuing the things involved in that scenario, and decided not to give up on my dreams. It takes time and effort, and some days you just don't feel like fighting for it anymore, but who doesn't have days like that? It's normal! We all have ups and downs, and there is way more people out there struggling with mental health than you can imagine. Unfortunately there seems to be something wrong with talking about it and being open, so they just decide to hide it because it's "embarrassing" and it might make them less cool. Well screw that, if you feel down, just take some time to be with yourself, to get to know you, what you like, what you hate, what you want and what you want to achieve in life. Maybe having depression wasn't that bad after all, because I learnt a few things about myself - I learnt that I want to go back to being the happy person that I used to be, and that I don't wanna put myself through that again. So if you need the time, take it, focus on what makes you happy and push away what doesn't. We all deserve to be happy and know ourselves, because, after all, we are meant to be with ourselves forever, until the very last day, so put yourself first!
