The 6 Best Affordable Foundations

Image result for foundation

Hello everyone!

Today's post is all about achieving that perfect, flawless skin, without having to spend hundreds. Drugstore makeup has come a long way, and there's more and more choices each time that actually deliver results and give you a look that's very similar to high-end. So let's get into it!

| MAYBELLINE | Dream Cushion Foundation

This foundation is awesome. It's lightweight, natural, and gives your skin the prettiest glow. It's perfect for the everyday, because it's easy and quick to apply, plus its compact packaging is perfect to take with you wherever you go if you need a touch-up. You can either use the sponge that comes with it, or use your own Beauty Blender or makeup sponge. You can get it anywhere in Australia (even at supermarkets) and it's around $27. Link for Priceline here.

| COVERGIRL | Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation

This one has been my favourite for 2 years. I love how light it is on the skin, while having an amazing coverage. The fact that it's a foundation, a primer and concealer, all in one, definitely makes a difference. It lasts really well on the skin and gives you a nice and flawless finish. I think it's especially good for fair skin, because this one matches my shade really well, and I usually struggle a lot with high-street foundation because I can very easily end up looking like a Dorito lol. It is around $21 in Australia, and you can click here to buy it.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation 30 mL

| RIMMEL | Wake Me Up Foundation

Another glowy-effect one. It has these tiny little particles that provide glow to your face, making you look more awake. It is probably not the lightest one on the skin I've used, but the finish is worth it. Plus, if you're used to wearing foundation, you won't feel it. Its coverage is very natural, but still covers what it needs to, plus it hydrates your skin. It is around $20 in Australia, and you can get it here.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation 30 mL

NYX | Total Control Drop Foundation

This foundation has some very good reviews, and I can understand why. So you basically have 3 foundations in 1, because depending on how many drops you use, you can get the coverage you want. You need 2 drops for a light coverage, 3 for medium, and 4 for high coverage. Its formula blurs out pores, without being too matte or too glowy, and it lasts really well on the skin, giving you a nice and natural finish. It is around $25 and can be found here.

Nyx Professional Makeup Total Control Drop Foundation 13 mL

| BOURJOIS | Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation

This foundation is meant to be very nutritious for your skin, because its formula has fruits and berries that make your skin feel radiant. Because of this, it's perfect for sensitive skin. It might be a bit shiny if your skin is very oily, but it should be more than fine if you set it with powder. It is meant to last 16 hours, so it's quite long-lasting. Its coverage is quite natural, and blends perfectly with your skin. It's $32 and you can get it here.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation 30 mL

| L'OREAL | True Match Foundation

This one has been a favourite for YEARS. Every time you see a drugstore foundation ranking, it is included. It makes your skin look very natural and even, and gives quite a natural finish. It covers what it needs to cover, but doesn't give you the mask-effect. Its best feature is the colour range, which they have actually improved recently, making sure that everyone has one that matches their shade. It is around $21 and you can get it here.

My Night Time Skincare Routine

Hi everyone!

Today's post is the second part of my last post in a way. I'm going to be sharing how I look after my skin before bed, making sure it's clean, moisturised and well pampered.

CLEANSER

I probably only use a proper cleanser when I have a heavy/full face of makeup, so if I do, I go with the Eve Lom Cleanser. Its texture is AMAZING, it has kind of a buttery consistency, which cleans your face, melting away the makeup, while its kind to your skin. It leaves your face feeling amazingly clean and soft, so if your skin is a bit on the dry side, it is a really good option. It's probably even a good option for oilier skin, because the oil in the product is very soft, and it's meant to even help with congested pores. You can get it here

EVE LOM Cleanser 100ml

MAKEUP REMOVER

So if I am not washing my face with what's featured above, which is most of the time, I clean my face with Micellar Water. I like using the one by La Roche-Posay. It is very gentle with my skin, and the particles in the water are designed to trap your makeup, almost like a magnet, so that your skin is left feeling clean without needing to rub or irritate it too much. Also, even if I wash my face, I usually need something  extra to remove my eye makeup, because if I let any kind of soap near my eye area, they end up super irritated and with some makeup leftovers anyway, so I normally use anything that is especially formulated for waterproof makeup (because most of the mascara I use is), and the one I've been using lately is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water in Oil. It is really good at removing mascara, it is gentle on your skin and even though it is oil based, it doesn't leave you feeling greasy. The best part about it is that it's very affordable, and there are many different types, so there will definitely be one that adapts to you. The one by La Roche-Posay is available here and the Garnier one, here

Garnier Micellar Oil-infused Cleansing Water 400 mLMICELLAR WATER ULTRA SENSITIVE SKIN packshot from Micellar Cleansing Range, by La Roche-Posay

EYE CREAM

For some reason, when it comes to the eye area, I don't really like using any rich/heavy moisturisers before bed. They make my eyes itchy and irritated. I've been using Clinique's All About Eyes, which has a gel-like formula that feels really nice, especially at night. It is light and gentle, but makes my skin feel well looked-after. Plus with this product, you really don't need a lot, because thanks to its texture, a little goes a long way, so a jar will last quite a long time, and you'll wake up feeling refreshed and well-rested. Available here

All About Eyes

FACE CREAM

Ok, so unlike my eye area, I like using quite a rich moisturiser on the rest of my face at night. I really like the cliché kind of night cream, that leaves you looking glowy and making your skin really bouncy and plumped, and the one that's been doing all this and more, is the Lancome Renergie Nuit Multi Lift moisturiser. It is seriously, seriously nice. It feels awesome on your skin, and like I said before, it makes your skin feel like you're coming out of a spa, making it super hydrated, moisturised, glowy and pampered (I wish my skin looked that glowy and healthy all the time). Unfortunately, Lancome is not exactly a super affordable brand, but it is seriously worth the price. I think that, especially in the evening, we need to look after our skin and make sure we're giving it what it needs, because I know I don't want prematurely aged skin, and I want to delay the appearance of wrinkles as much as possible. You can find it here

Bonus: CLEANSING PAD

I honestly don't understand the whole Clarisonic fever. I've tried it and it has done nothing for me, so I think it's pretty overpriced for what it does, in my opinion (might work for you, we're all different), but some months ago, I came across this little silicone "cleansing pad". It is honestly like the super cheap, super basic/old-school version of a Clarisonic, but to me, it does make a difference. I use it when I'm cleansing my face, and "brush" my skin. It has the softest little silicone bristles ever, and it helps your cleanser get deep into your pores, without irritating your skin or being rough in any way. And guess what? It cost me $3, so I don't think you can beat that! And even if it doesn't work for you, it's just $3, which will definitely be less painful than spending over $100 and not noticing any differences. I got mine at some point last year from Forever 21 (here), but I'm sure you can find it in any shop where they have Chinese beauty accessories.

My morning skincare routine

 Hello everyone!!

Today I'm very excited to share my skincare routine with you all. I've been using these same products for a while now, and I feel like they leave my skin exactly how I want it. So let's just get into it!

CLEANSER

So I obviously start every morning by cleansing my skin. I've been loving this Warming Cleanser by Sephora, because it is very gentle on the skin, but it definitely does its job. I am usually not the biggest fan of the Sephora brand, but I read really good reviews on this particular one, plus it was super affordable! Its consistency is very sticky (it's got maple sap extract, which cleans your skin without making it feel tight), but when you start massaging it on your skin, it becomes a bit more foamy, and you can feel how that texture gets deep into your pores, getting rid of what shouldn't be there. It's probably formulated to remove makeup rather than cleansing you skin first thing in the morning, but I asked one of the girls at Sephora and she said it was perfectly fine to use it on clean skin as well.

EXFOLIATOR

I exfoliate my skin 2-3 times a week, usually on the days that I wash my hair (I don't know why, I just got used to doing both on the same day lol). Because my skin can get really sensitive, I like using gentle scrubs, because if it's too rough, my skin can get very red very easily, and there's nothing worse than feeling your skin all irritated. So this one by Clinique has some mixed opinions if you check the reviews, but it's worked really well for me. I feel like the micro beads in it work really well on my skin, making it feel smoother and softer. You can find it here.

EYE CREAM

So I know that there's a bit of controversy out there regarding the order in which you apply your eye cream (whether it should be before or after your face cream), but I've found over the years that it works better for me if I put it on before the face cream. Plus I've read that eye creams are specifically created for how thin and delicate that area is, and putting your face cream on your eye area can (in some cases) create all sorts of chaos, even making that area oilier or altering the pH. So after reading this, I felt like doing this first would sort of protect that skin in a way from the cream I put on the rest of my face, kinda creating a barrier. I've been loving the Pep-Start one by Clinique, because it is very light on the skin, but definitely feels nice and hydrated for the rest of the day. I also really like that if I put makeup on later, it goes on really smoothly, so it creates an awesome base for concealer. Available here.

FACE CREAM

I completely fell in love with this moisturiser. I love the texture! It's a bit like gel, but still creamy. I feel like gel moisturisers usually end up making my skin feel dehydrated, and especially during Winter, I need something that seriously hydrates, but without the heavy or greasy feeling. This one is meant to "relieve the extended thirst of your skin", which is exactly what my skin needs during this season. When I put it on, my skin feels seriously plump and hydrated, plus it gives you that glow that reassures you how healthy and nice your face is. Link here

SPF

This one is a very underrated step. I think that probably most of us skip it, especially during Winter because we think we won't get sunburnt, so it's not necessary. This is most definitely FALSE, and we need to make it a part of our routine, especially in Australia, which is one of the countries with the most cases of skin cancer. But SPF is not only to stop you from getting cancer, it also protects your skin from ageing prematurely, it stops you from dark spots, it protects your skin from getting permanent marks after blemishes, etc. Plus with this one by Biotherm, I even get some fine lines smoothed out, so it's definitely a win-win. Also, if you're avoiding sunscreen because you it leaves your skin feeling too greasy, just look properly! There's SO many brands and options out there, that I can guarantee you you'll find at least one that works for you! You can get this one here

Bonus: SPOT TREATMENT

So this one is not a part of my daily routine, but I use it if there are some ugly pimples wrecking my face. This one is by Oriflame, and I got it aaaages ago, so I don't even know if it still exists, but the important thing here is that Tea Tree Oil is perfect for acne. It is definitely the one ingredient that's worked best on my blemishes, far better than salicylic acid or anything else. I probably use this more so during the night, but if the pimples are really bad, I'll put it on both in the morning and at the end of the day. I just make sure that I apply this before the moisturiser, because the moisturiser will create a barrier and the treatment won't sink as well into your skin.

The perfect iron for your hair + REVIEW

Hey everyone!

On today's post I'm going to talk about my favourite straightening tool: The Kate iron by Halo.

Let me tell you a bit about my hair first. It is quite frizzy, it is kinda wavy in some areas and a bit straighter in others, it is normal with a tendency to get pretty dry on the ends, so I'm always careful with the tools I use.

So because my hair has such an "interesting" shape, I usually find myself wanting to do something about it in order to make it less messy, whether it's "enhancing" the waves with some heatless methods, or just ironing it or curling it with a wand.

I started using irons about 10 years ago, when for some reason (might have been a bad haircut, I don't remember exactly) my hair started being a lot harder to tame. My parents got me my first ever straightening iron and I fell in love with it, because I discovered a whole new world of silky-soft hair (insert celestial music here, lol). Obviously, because irons don't last forever, I've tried many different brands and types, and thanks to being super picky, my hair's never suffered THAT much. Of course, it's been through really dry and burnt stages, but nothing that a good haircut couldn't fix, plus I knew that when it started getting damaged, it was clearly time to leave the iron for a bit and focus on healing my hair before being able to style it again.

So back in December, I decided I needed to get a new iron, because you know when your old one just doesn't work anymore, or it starts behaving a bit weirdly. I was very clear that I wanted to invest and actually get a good one, so getting a GHD seemed like the best option. Well, I basically got told by the girl in the shop that if I was gonna spend that much money, that I would be better off getting a Halo, because allegedly GHD had changed its country of origin and the quality wasn't as good anymore, plus she said that she actually owned this iron, and her hair was really pretty, so it was definitely a plus.

Everytime I use this iron (which is probably more often than I should, whoops) my hair is just completely transformed. It is completely smooth, soft, shiny, silky... And even though the irons I've tried in the past also left my hair straight and soft, the Halo is just a total game-changer, and my hair's NEVER been this silky soft before, I promise you. It's just the way that I never thought it would feel.

The best thing about it too, is that it's almost guaranteed to work perfectly for you, because there are 2 different models - The Kate and The Farrah - and The Farrah is specifically designed for coarse, thick hair. So no matter your hair type, we can all have perfectly smooth straight hair :)

The Kate has Japanese Kyocera Technology, which mends hair during the styling process with infrared rays, making it perfect for coloured, dry or damaged hair (and seriously guys, this is the first iron that I feel like it actually means what it's saying with regards to repairing dry/damaged hair). It has temperature control (between 100°C-210°C), ceramic floating plates (for static free hair), and it's safe to use because it automatically turns itself off after 30 minutes  without use.

So as you can see, I think this is a very good tool for your hair. You can get it in Australia from Hairhouse Warehouse, link here.

Hope you enjoyed this post, thanks for reading me! xo

*Disclaimer: All these opinions are my own, I wasn't paid by Halo or Hairhouse Warehouse, or anyone to share this, I just genuinely think that this iron is awesome and life-changing.*

My favourite concealer of all time

Hi there!

If anyone asked me what concealer works best for me, which one I've repurchased because I actually love it, which one has a great coverage and ACTUALLY conceals, my answer would be MAC's Pro Longwear Concealer.

This was the first actual concealer I got. I think it was about 5-6 years ago. I was getting started with makeup and noticed that foundation usually wasn't enough to cover under my eyes, so MAC was probably the first brand I thought of when I thought of something that wasn't drugstore. Don't get me wrong, drugstore concealers have come a LONG way, but back then, they weren't worth it because they weren't really that good, didn't cover as much and ended up creasing lots and making everything super messy.

What do I love about it? First of all, I love how even after all this time, I keep going back to it. I know that I can definitely trust it to cover what I need (not just under-eyes, but also acne, discoloration, etc.). I also think that one bottle of it lasts a VERY long time. Actually, when I got it for the first time, it was the only concealer I had, so I used it quite a lot, and it lasted over a year. It's one of the concealers that crease the least on me, but if you set it with powder, there's absolutely no problem at all. They also have a very wide range of shades, so you're almost guaranteed to find one that works for you, no matter what your undertones are, how dark your under-eye area is or if it's a little bit purple. It blends really well, it's buildable, easy to work with, and it's very long-lasting on your skin.

Related image

What don't I like so much? That it can be a bit drying, but I've found that if I wear a nice and hydrating moisturiser on my eye area (which I do everyday), it works a thousand times better and it's not drying at all (but yeah, the first time I tried it I was probably 17 and didn't have a skincare routine). You might have to be careful if you decide to build it up, especially with how delicate your eye area is, because it can feel quite heavy, but if you blend it well, it's perfect. Plus, the coverage is so good that you probably don't even need to build it up under your eyes, it's probably more for those stubborn fresh pimples that don't want to go away that you might need more than one layer.

I would definitely, definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a good concealer that is long-lasting, good quality and lasts for a long time.

In Australia, it's around $38 and you can get it from any MAC stores or from David Jones (link here)

The BATTLE of the Primers!! High-End v/s Drugstore

Hello everyone!

I decided to start doing this new "series" to review more expensive products and compare them to products that are VERY similar but only a fraction of the cost. Many times we end up spending more than we expect on a makeup product, and we don't realize that we could we getting something very similar from the drugstore.

So for today's battle, I picked two very popular primers: the Photo Finish Primer by Smashbox and the Studio Perfect Photo Loving Primer by NYX.

Nyx Professional Makeup Studio Perfect Primer 30 mLImage result for smashbox photo finish primer

So first things first. They look ridiculously similar. They both have the black and white scheme going on in their packagings. There is quite a big difference in price though, because the NYX Primer is $19.95 for 30 ml (link here) and the Smashbox one is $52 for the same 30 ml (link here).

They both claim to deliver a silky finish, both say they create a perfect canvas, reducing the appearance of fine lines and pores, and  are meant to extend the duration of your makeup.

The consistency of Smashbox's primer is gel-like, which makes it easy to apply and even out. It might make you (certainly me) think that because it's a gel, it might dry out your skin, especially if it's not oily, but honestly that wasn't the case. It keeps your makeup perfectly in place, blurring some lines you might have and working perfectly in the hotter Summer days.

The NYX primer feels exactly the same, which is to be expected because, well, they LOOK the same, but more importantly, they have the same ingredients. So you would also expect it to have the same performance. But does it? Yes! It is just as easy to apply, it keeps your makeup in place just like the other one, and it doesn't dry you out or make you shiny through the day.

They are also both Cruelty Free, which is a massive plus for both.

So who's the winner of the battle?
They are both VERY good. They do what they promise to do, they make your makeup go on very smoothly and stay on a very decent amount of time, but obviously if they both do the same, you would wanna spend less money (unless you don't care about splurging because you just became a mogul lol) so the winner is clearly NYX Studio Perfect Photo Loving Primer.

Nyx Professional Makeup Studio Perfect Primer 30 mL Nyx Professional Makeup Studio Perfect Primer 30 mL

Also, you can get both brands in different colours, depending on your skin concerns. Lavender is good for correcting yellow-ish tones, and green is good for redness.

If you liked this post series, definitely stay tuned because I'll be making more of them featuring different beauty products :)

Hope you enjoyed it, thanks for reading me! xo

The best nail polish I've ever tried

Hello everyone!!

In today's post, I am gonna be talking all about my favourite nail polish. I absolutely love wearing nail polish, and I probably wear it 95% of the time. I feel like I've finally found my perfect match, after years of trying different brands. I tried cheap, expensive, everything, and the one I've liked the most is not one of the cheapest ones, but there are definitely some that are more expensive.

So the brand that has become my holy grail is MAC. I feel like the formulation is awesome. It can quite easily last a week on my nails without chipping (and yes, I do cleaning and dishes and all that stuff in my house that can damage it). I feel like it looks perfect on your nails, it gives them a lot of shine and gives a very professional finish.

Anyway, I have to tell you guys that even if you're wearing a nail polish that claims to last forever, it DOES depend a lot on the top coat. I don't think I've ever used a nail polish that doesn't need one, because it is specifically created to protect the colour, increase the duration and make it look even better (I've been using the Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat, and it is the perfect complement).

They are not exactly cheap (around $22 in Australia), but they've worked so well for me that I don't mind paying a little extra, because there's nothing more frustrating than spending time doing your nails and having chips everywhere the next day. As I mentioned before, I can be sure that with MAC polishes my nails will look perfect for a week (it might even last a bit longer, but I usually end up re-doing them because I get bored of the colour lol).

Here are some of my favourite colours in case you need a bit of guidance:

0705 mac nail lacquer steamy bd1. The very first one I got some years ago was "Steamy". I am sure the bright pink caught my eye straight away, and once I put it on, I completely fell in love. It is very bold and bright, and it's perfect for Summer, but it's also perfect for Winter (do you really need a season to wear a certain colour? You just rock whatever colour you want!)

0705 mac nail lacquer snob bd

2. "Snob" is the perfect girly soft pink. I really like this shade, it's perfect for any occasion, and will look even better with a tan. It will make your nails look impeccable and trendy, so it's perfect if you're looking for a pastel pink shade.

Image result for mac sour cherry lacquer

3. "Sour Cherry" is a deep red. I like how elegant it looks, but it's also very versatile. People would probably consider it a more wintery colour (on with the season colours again haha). It's in my list of favourites because sometimes you feel like something a bit darker but not exactly black, and this one is perfect for those days.

Image result for mac midnight sky lacquer

4. I love "Midnight Sky" because it's dark. It's not black - it's more in between grey and black, and has a very subtle sparkly effect, so the name couldn't be more perfect, because it does look like the sky at night. It is very edgy and trendy, and the quality is just as good as the others, of course.

Image result for mac midnight strata lacquer

5.  "Midnight Strata" is very edgy as well. It's a bright purple that will give you an energy boost from just looking at your nails. It's perfect for any season, situation, occasion, event, etc. and it'll make you feel like a fashion queen because no one will be able to ignore your nails.

- You can get these and other colours from David Jones or any MAC shop in Australia.

Hope you enjoyed it, thanks for reading me! xo

My Favourite Foundation!

Hi everyone!

Today I'm finally talking about my most favourite foundation of all time!! The Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation!

I got it in Summer as a gift, and I loved it straight away, but since it was summer and I was a bit more tanned, it didn't match the rest of my body and it made me look like a ghost :( so I just left it there and started using others, until Winter came and I decided to give it a go once again and SCORE! I was actually back to being pasty-white ghost-shade and it was a perfect match! My skin is VERY light, and I usually have trouble finding foundations (especially drugstore) that match the colour of my neck perfectly, but this one just couldn't be a better match.

Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation

It is definitely more on the pricey-side, but I find it SO worth it. The presentation is absolutely flawless, it comes in a very nice bottle that gives it quite an elegant touch.

The texture is just dreamy in my opinion. It is kinda liquidy (a bit like the Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation), but the coverage is pretty decent (probably light to medium), it is very light on the skin, not giving you the heavy mask feel, it has a dewy finish, but it's oil-free, it doesn't settle into lines (which happens A LOT to me with other foundations), and it lasts really well without a primer. Usually when I wear this foundation, I only use powder on my T-zone, because it's where I usually get a bit more oily, but the other areas of my face go through the day really well without needing to be set.

My skin tends to get a lot dryer in Winter, but it's still normal/combination. I get areas that can get quite dry (chin, forehead, cheeks), but my nose is a bit on the oilier side. This is commonly a problem for me because there are NO foundations that "stick" to my nose, no matter how much I set it or use primer or anything, but this foundation sticks a lot more than others. It's not perfect, obviously, it still melts off a bit at some point, but it's the one that has worked the best.

It does have SPF 20, which is good on a daily-basis, but it's probably not recommended for big events or special occasions where you'll get important pictures taken, because it'll most likely cause flashback, but then that's the case with all (or most) foundations with SPF.
It's also probably not recommendable for dry skin -not my case, so I can't tell you my experience- but I've seen some reviews from people with dry skin and most of them have hated it. It is an oil-free base, so it makes sense either way.

If you're looking for a new foundation to use everyday, and your skin sounds similar to mine, I can't recommend this enough, and I hope you love it as much as I do.

You can get it from David Jones in Australia, it's around $72 and this is the link.

Hope you enjoyed this post, thanks for reading me! xo

P.S: The shade I'm using is Neutral 1, which is a VERY light shade, so beware because it's lighter in real life than it looks online.

My experience with Lush shampoos

Hello everyone,

On today's post, I want to tell you a bit about my hair... My hair's been through so many different stages: it's been oily, it's been dry, it's been normal, it's had disastrous ends, it's been straight, it's been wavy, it's been uncontrollably frizzy... But what made me try Lush products was that my scalp was so sensitive - it was itchy all the time, even when it was perfectly clean, and it was sore, and probably red if I could see it.
I am a natural redhead, so my colour kinda varies sometimes, depending on the shampoos I use (it gets lighter and yellow-ish with camomille, for instance) and also depending on the season (it also gets lighter in summer and a bit more strawberry-blonde), but I was happy to know that my colour didn't change with Lush shampoos whatsoever.

Lullaby
- So the first one I tried was "Lullaby", which is specifically formulated for sensitive scalp, and it made SUCH a difference! After 2 or 3 washes my head wasn't itchy or sore anymore, and it made my hair very soft and shiny. I would definitely recommend trying it if you suffer from dehydrated, sensitive scalp, like I was.
I don't know if it's not available in Australia, 'cuz it's not on the website, but this is the link for it in the US.

Seanik

- Then, because I liked their performance SO much, when I ran out of "Lullaby", I went back to their store and picked up a different one, mainly because I have this feeling that my hair will get used to the same shampoo if I use it for too long and it won't clean it as well. Yes, I was kinda scared that my hair would go back to its old ways, but the girl in the shop told me that all of their shampoos are very gentle, and because my hair was "rehabilitated" it should be especially fine. So I got "Seanik", and nothing to say here, it was awesome and it kept my hair in very good hands. Click here for the link. It's $14.95 in Australia.

Karma Komba

- The third time, I picked "Karma Komba". It was very good, like the others I had tried, but for some reason its scent didn't exactly agree with me. Don't get me wrong, it's not like my hair smelled bad after I washed it, but I'm very picky when it comes to shampoo and conditioner scents. Again, I've got nothing to say about its performance, because it was perfect, leaving my hair squeaky clean, shiny, soft and un-irritated. This is the link, and it's also $14.95.

Honey I Washed My Hair

- This one is by far my FAVOURITE. I love the smell, the texture, how it leaves my hair, how it smells after I've washed it, EVERYTHING, so I think I've repurchased it at least 3 times. It's called "Honey I Washed My Hair", and it seriously smells like honey, and OMG, for real guys, you need to try it. It gives you very soft, clean, moisturised and shiny hair, and it's just perfect. It's also $14.95 and can be found here.

Jason And The Argan Oil- And last but not least, the one I've tried most recently is "Jason and the Argan Oil". I think I fell in love with its colour and with the words "argan oil". Argan Oil was a very big thing a couple of years ago, and it's good, but for some reason I've never seen any dramatic differences in my hair with it. It is good like the others, but Argan Oil is not the perfect match for my hair. Plus, it didn't smell the way I expected it to (yes, being picky again lol), which is why I think I'll stay faithful to "Honey I Washed My Hair", but if your hair loves Argan Oil, it's definitely worth a try. Available here for $14.95 as well.

Yes, they are a bit more expensive than drugstore/supermarket shampoos, but they are SO worth it, they actually look after your hair properly, and they last a LOT longer. Plus, you probably need less product than with liquid shampoos.

Hope you and your hair enjoyed this post. Thanks for reading me! xo

*Disclaimer: All these opinions are my own, I wasn't paid by Lush or anyone to share this, I just genuinely think that it's a great shop with great beauty products that are worth a try.*
